Question : can I move DNS ande DHCP from one SBS domain to another SBS domain
I'm replacing a 2003 SBS machine with a 2008 SBS machine with a different AD domain. All other servers, desktops, printers, etc are being moved to the new system. All data, mailboxes etc will be moved. The basic idea is to use the file and settigns wizard on each desktop to move from one domain to the other. The main question is whether the dns info for all the assigned machines can be moved. I understand the domain name will be differemt so I expect I'd have to edit the data if it can be done at all. There are also about a dozen dhcp reservations: can be be moved with less pain than jsut doing it all over again?
Final question: can the login files in the sysvol folder be moved from sbs 2003 to 2008 if the usernames and paths are properly matched up?
