Question : How to solve a corrupted Nvidia Driver

Hello,

I have had my Dell XPS 630i desktop for over 2 yrs. I updated to Windows 7 64bit last yr. I had no problems until last week when my display became very garbled with white spotty lines and my resolution being reverted to 800 X 600. I have a Geforce 8800GT Graphics Card installed. I researched everywhere online and some people experienced similar instances without a solution. I have rebooted my machine several times. It would work normally about 2 out of 10 times I reboot my computer. When it worked one time I noticed this error message, 'Display Driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver Version has stopped working and has successfully recovered'. I figured it had nothing to do with my motherboard, CPU, or memory cards. I uninstalled my drivers from my device manager and it automatically reinstalled updated versions but to no avail. I even reset my BIOs but to no avail as well. Anyone know whats going on and how I could resolve this pesky problem? Thanks much for your expertise!

Answer : How to solve a corrupted Nvidia Driver

Both those machines seem to be appliances that work in conjunction with a base firewall, like, a Barracuda NG firewall.  I would guess that a typical setup would be      Internet>>>>>Barracuda NG Firewall>>>>>Barracuda 300 Spam Firewall>>>>Barracuda 310 Spam Firewall>>>>>>>LAN.

Seems like a lot of hardware in a world full of hardware or software alternatives that do not require 3 devices.  imo
