Question : Would a change of the pagingfile.sys be transparent between partitions?
I'm running server 2003 32bit on a machine with 3GB of memory. I have two partitions. C: main one is 20GB the D: is 1.34TB. There is a pagingfile of 4GB on my C and all of a sudden for different reasons I'm trying to currently fix, my C drive is almost at 1% of space.
My question is, can I move my pagingfile.sys to D? Or not even move, can I remove it from C and create it on D without affecting my configuration? Would it be a transparent change I guess is my question. Because right now I could surely use those 4GB on my C drive yet I want to keep the paging file's benefits.
Thanks for your help
