Question : Set up Outlook e-mail account to send only

I need to set up Outlook to "only send" through a specific e-mail account. I do not want to download e-mail from the ISP server.
When setting up the account the incoming mail server box requires an entry. When I put "null" or "not used" in this box a always get an error message when sending / receiving.
Is there another workaround that avoids getting the error message when sending and receiving?
