Question : Out-bound Call Center Setup!!!!

Hi All,

A friend of mine has asked me to setup a small out-bound call center using Open-Source. I have deployed asterisk before but never used predictive dialer like Vicidial. Can some one guide me what needs to be done if one wishes to use asterisk for predictive dialing using Vicidial? More information can be provided if required.

Answer : Out-bound Call Center Setup!!!!

Vicidial is a pretty much ready-to-go predictive call center, they have changed the web interface for the agents recently and it is looks nicer. But the main knewledge about it is not asterisk but the predictive use. There are tons of all kinds of switches and parameters inside.
Here are basic steps:

1: Create couple of agents, try to do not complicate the passwords too much.
2: Create new leads, you need to import the phone numbers from .csv. (Read their pdf on site step by step)
3: Create new campaign, the moste important stuff is the rate, for example rate 1:1 give us 1 call per agent, 1:2 ect.....
4: As you know asterisk configuring trunks is easy.
5: Make this campaign active.
6 Login with agents. and heat up softphones.
7: Start processing.

If you dont need the predictive try elastix, they got a really simple call center solution with autodialing and form designer.
